POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the logistics and operational aspects of our warehouse. This position is essential for overseeing the receipt, distribution, and storage of food and beverage items, ensuring efficient inventory management and cost-effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing pre-event preparations and ensuring timely setup in accordance with event schedules.
  • Providing leadership and supervision during events, monitoring operations, and addressing any service-related issues proactively.
  • Collaborating with various departments to procure food products and accommodating special order requests.
  • Maintaining an aesthetically pleasing environment by ensuring all equipment and service areas are well-kept.
  • Managing the breakdown process post-event to ensure efficiency.
  • Training warehouse staff on service standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with employee break and meal period regulations.
  • Facilitating communication with internal teams and leading meetings as necessary.
  • Fostering positive employee relations and addressing labor-related concerns effectively.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Upholding compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma and relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Certification in Smart Serve.
  • Demonstrated emotional maturity and respectfulness.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for engaging with others.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is based on-site, and the physical demands include regular sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands for various tasks. Employees must be able to stand, walk, and bend as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
