Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Polytainers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, including managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and maintain accurate records.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including HACCP and 5S standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members, management, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as business or logistics.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Licenses: Forklift and reach truck licenses preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
