Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Gill Concrete Pumping Ltd.. This role involves ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
  • Fill voids and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Utilize power vibrators to effectively compact concrete.
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specifications.
  • Achieve the desired finish on concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other essential fixtures.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to cure surfaces properly.
  • Waterproof, damp-proof, and restore concrete surfaces as needed.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace damaged or worn sections of concrete structures.

  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods.
