Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Gill Concrete Pumping Ltd.. This is a permanent position that offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in concrete finishing
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials
  • Fill voids and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete
  • Utilize power vibrators for effective concrete compaction
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths
  • Achieve the desired finish on concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore concrete surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace damaged sections of concrete structures
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Standing for extended periods
