We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Sublime Concrete and Construction Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities- Formwork and Material Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Concrete Placement and Compaction: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, and operate power vibrators to compact the concrete.
- Structural Repair and Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, ensuring a safe and durable finish.
- Surface Preparation and Finishing: Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
- Work at Heights and Scaffolding: Work safely at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
- Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with frequent handling of heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Work Site Conditions: You will work in a dusty, hot, noisy, and wet/damp environment, with regular exposure to the outdoors.
