Position Overview

SF2 Concrete Contracting LTD. is seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with various concrete materials and ensuring high-quality finishes on both commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in concrete finishing is preferred.
Languages

Asset languages include Arabic.

Work Environment
  • Exposure to dusty and noisy conditions.
  • Work primarily conducted in outdoor settings.
  • Conditions may be wet/damp.
Work Setting
  • Projects may be located in rural or urban areas.
  • Experience in both commercial and residential settings is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Utilize power vibrators to compact concrete effectively.
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths.
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Implement hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces appropriately.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
Materials Used
  • Work with colours and sealers.
  • Utilize hardeners and epoxies.
  • Experience with lightweight concrete is an asset.
  • Knowledge of reinforcing membranes and protective coverings is beneficial.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Capable of lifting heavy loads.
  • Comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound discrimination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
Tools and Equipment
  • Must have steel-toed safety boots.
  • Required to wear a hard hat.
  • Use of safety glasses/goggles and ear plugs is mandatory.
  • Gloves are necessary for safety.
Additional Information
