Job Summary

The TEP GROUP is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Co-op to join our team. As a key member of our work group, you will provide Electrical Engineering support to our telecom company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a Professional Electrical Engineer on projects related to EV Charging Stations, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Conduct data analysis to support project management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives, implementing changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform site visits for data collection and construction management, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Identify project risks and mitigation strategies, providing recommendations to minimize potential issues.
  • Forecast project timelines, ensuring realistic expectations and deadlines.
  • Perform other tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program, with a strong academic record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Interest in learning about EV Charging, telecommunications, and construction, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Canadian resident with necessary permit or citizenship to work in Canada.
  • Driver's License, with a valid driver's record.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment, with regular opportunities for site visits and travel. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
