Job Summary
The TEP GROUP is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Co-op to join our team. As a key member of our work group, you will provide Electrical Engineering support to our telecom company.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with a Professional Electrical Engineer on projects related to EV Charging Stations, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Conduct data analysis to support project management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives, implementing changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Perform site visits for data collection and construction management, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies, providing recommendations to minimize potential issues.
- Forecast project timelines, ensuring realistic expectations and deadlines.
- Perform other tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program, with a strong academic record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
- Interest in learning about EV Charging, telecommunications, and construction, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Canadian resident with necessary permit or citizenship to work in Canada.
- Driver's License, with a valid driver's record.
Work Environment
The work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment, with regular opportunities to work on-site at various locations. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, speak, and hear.
