Role Purpose
At a site or campus level, the Space Optimization Specialist comprehends the current space availability, workplace conditions, and headcount forecasts by local business unit. The Space Optimization Specialist ensures that all locations are optimized according to Client workplace standards.
Key Responsibilities
At a site or campus level, assist in the development and implementation of space optimization strategies that align with migration plans to meet the business's spatial needs and/or adjustments to space allocations. Conduct site-level allocation blocking, stacking, adjacency, and planning. Formulate migration strategies and sequencing for group-level and individual relocations. Oversee and maintain CAFM/IWMS data to guarantee the accuracy of reporting. Facilitate and resolve planning challenges identified during customer planning discussions with the MAC team. Compile a tactical overview (e.g., months) of the specific campus to support business requirements. Integrate the tactical plan into the strategic forecast of business space needs. Aid in preparing communications that assist Business Representatives and other stakeholders in understanding the proposed accommodation solutions, including the preparation of ('to/from') floor plans, stack plans, summarized data, and approval documents. Recommend, educate, and enforce space policies, standards, procedures, and protocols, notifying clients of any requested exceptions. Address data accuracy audits as necessary. Collaborate on site-specific Planning Strategies with RE&F Managers and Strategic Occupancy Specialists. Serve as the point of contact for site and campus-level space requests. Report and maintain organizational-level space allocation plans.Reporting Responsibilities
Monitor and report actual versus projected office demand at the building and floor levels. Report on current supply and capacity, site metrics, project activities, and optimization opportunities. Track and report incoming space requests. Analyze site-level attendance and occupancy data.Key Interactions

Qualifications
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills. Tactical planning and initiative experience. Problem-solving abilities. Experience with activity-based working programs is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Space planning experience preferred, including stacking, blocking, and adjacency planning. Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. AutoCAD skills are preferred.What You Can Expect from Us

67,000.00 – 97,200.00 CAD per yearThe pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
