Job Title: Associate Director of Nursing for Community Services

Join the Transformation Unit as we strive to deliver exceptional care to our patients. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Nursing for Community Services to lead our nursing teams and drive quality improvement across our community services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing nursing teams within the division, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and a positive patient experience. They will work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver the Trust's strategic aims and objectives, building and maintaining relationships with system partners and key stakeholders.

The postholder will have a proven track record of leadership, performance improvement, and organisational change, with experience of supporting a large, complex professional workforce. They will be responsible for setting, maintaining, and monitoring standards of nursing care within the division, ensuring compliance with specialty standards regarding training and education.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide outstanding nursing leadership across the division, ensuring delivery of high-quality care and a positive patient experience.
  2. Lead and develop a safe, skilled, and competent workforce, ensuring the implementation of an effective plan for continuing professional development.
  3. Ensure teams are compliant with specialty standards regarding training and education.
  4. Establish an effective governance framework at divisional and directorate level.
  5. Work with the senior leadership team on the operational delivery of key priorities set out in CHFT strategies.
  6. Ensure implementation of national standards, guidance, and best practice.
  7. Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative models of care, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate management qualification or equivalent level of study.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development across the last 3 years.
  • Significant proven managerial experience at a senior level within nursing, leading and managing a number of clinical areas and/or departments.
