We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at VON Canada. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients in their homes and other settings, including diabetes management, dialysis, IV medications, and wound care.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop strategies to address them.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Document patient information, progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia.
- Experience in community health or home care an asset.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
