Job Title: Disability and Inclusion Administration Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Disability and Inclusion Administration Coordinator to join our team at George Street Primary School. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Principal and teaching staff in the provision of high-quality administrative services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Principal and teaching staff, including coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage the processing of student admissions, registrations, enrolments, and transfers, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for school events, functions, and projects, including coordinating logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Implement induction programs for new staff, volunteers, and other workers to the school, ensuring a smooth transition and effective onboarding process.
Selection Criteria:

We are looking for an individual who possesses the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment, including high-level oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management and other school staff in respect to the work area.
  • A commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide high-level administrative support in the preparation for Disability Inclusion Profile Meetings and to liaise with a range of key stakeholders in the documentation of the Disability Inclusion Functional Needs Domains.
