Position Overview

Demostat Services is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to provide essential support in our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant experience to contribute effectively to our operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience in an administrative role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate seminars, conferences, and similar events.
  • Facilitate the flow of information within the team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Document and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Address employee inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Manage office supply orders and maintain inventory levels.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including itineraries and reservations.
  • Welcome visitors and direct them to appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Establish and maintain both manual and computerized filing systems for information.
  • Type and proofread various correspondence, forms, and documents.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to convey marketing messages accurately.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 44 hours per week. The primary language of communication in this role will be English.
