Job Summary

Boston Pizza Cornwall is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  • Food and Beverage Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
    • Ensure that food and beverage standards are consistently met, and that quality control procedures are followed.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer service standards are consistently met, and that customers receive exceptional service.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment

The Restaurant Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.
