Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at 2799965 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Operations: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Management: Hire food service staff, establish work schedules, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods.
