About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our team at Dufferin Construction Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our project managers and ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Control: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date cost records for our construction projects, including tracking expenses, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Documentation: Ensure all project-related documentation is accurate, complete, and easily accessible, including daily field logs, utility locate files, and rental equipment records.
  • Communication: Coordinate with project managers, site staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, and provide recommendations to project managers and senior leadership.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to project managers and senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
