Pension and Benefits Administration Specialist

The role of the Pension and Benefits Administration Specialist at Bilsland Griffith Benefit Administrators involves managing and overseeing various employee benefit programs.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a relevant field.
This position is situated in a general office setting, providing a professional atmosphere for effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, update, and retrieve financial information.
- Perform administrative tasks, including the management of filing systems.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements.
- Complete and submit documentation for the administration of employee benefits, including pension plans, leave entitlements, and insurance programs.
- Compile and analyze statistics and reports.
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately.
- Provide information and support to clients regarding benefits.
- Ensure the maintenance of precise records.
- Calculate pension entitlements and benefits.
- Research and prepare communication materials.
- Document and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Organize agendas and logistics for committee and board meetings.
- Assist in creating brochures, reports, newsletters, and other relevant materials.
- Calculate contributions and benefits related to pension and superannuation plans.
- Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
