Position Overview

The Pension and Benefits Administration Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing employee benefits and pension plans. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a general office environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment

The role is situated in a standard office setting, providing a professional atmosphere conducive to productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, update, and retrieve financial records.
  • Execute clerical tasks, including the management of filing systems.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements.
  • Complete and submit documentation for the administration of employee benefits, including pension plans, leave entitlements, and insurance policies.
  • Compile and analyze statistics and reports.
  • Conduct data entry tasks accurately.
  • Reconcile financial accounts as necessary.
  • Calculate pension benefits and assess premiums, contributions, and benefits for various insurance policies.
