Position Overview

As a Pension and Benefits Administration Specialist at Bilsland Griffith Benefit Administrators, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing employee benefits and pension plans. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service and support.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months and less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a relevant field.
Work Environment

This position is based in a general office setting, providing a collaborative and professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, update, and retrieve financial records efficiently.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Prepare and issue monthly financial statements.
  • Complete and submit necessary documentation for the administration of various benefits, including pension plans, leave entitlements, and medical insurance.
  • Compile and analyze statistics and reports for internal use.
  • Conduct data entry with precision and accuracy.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive information regarding their benefits.
  • Maintain meticulous records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Calculate pension benefits and contributions accurately.
  • Research and prepare communication materials as needed.
  • Document and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Organize agendas and logistical arrangements for committee and board meetings.
  • Assist in creating brochures, reports, newsletters, and other informational materials.
  • Calculate contributions and benefits for pension and superannuation plans.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
