We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Brenta Construction Inc.

  • **Required Qualifications:**
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 3 years of experience in the trade
**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools and equipment
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood and other building components
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish
  • Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, or follow verbal instructions from supervisors or project managers
  • Transport tools, equipment, and other materials as needed, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • **Physical Demands and Work Conditions:**
    • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
    • Physically demanding work, requiring manual dexterity and strength
