Concrete Forms Carpenter

Brenta Forming and Framing is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
- Move tools, equipment, and other materials.
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel, and the job is physically demanding. You will work with minimal supervision and must be able to work independently.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
