Concrete Forms Carpenter

Brenta Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities- Layout Preparation: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Construction: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Installation: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Communication: Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions from supervisors or colleagues.
- Site Management: Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. The work environment is physically demanding, and the ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
