Brenta Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in building foundations, installing floor beams, and erecting walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create strong and durable structures.
- Build foundations and install floor beams to provide a solid base for buildings.
- Erect walls and roof systems to create a safe and secure environment.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process.
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from job sites.
As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often in various locations. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding conditions.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions.
- Manual dexterity and ability to use various tools and equipment.
- Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
