- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required.
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) required.
- Perioperative Nursing Program (PONP) or equivalent required.
- Five years of experience working in a perioperative environment with at least two years in a leadership role required.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and health information systems required.
- Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, plastic, cardiac, and neuro surgery services an asset.
- Experience with staff scheduling an asset.
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills required.
- Problem-solving abilities with the perioperative environment required.
- Competence in coaching and mentoring others in achieving optimal performance required.
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset.
- Full-time Long Assignment; 75 hours bi-weekly.
$53.35 Hourly.
