Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineering Technician to join our team at 2535830 Ontario Inc. This permanent role offers a structured work environment with a commitment to quality and efficiency.

  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production, inventory, and quality assurance programs.
  • Design layouts for production facilities and optimize workflow.
  • Conduct work measurement studies and other analyses.
  • Create and execute health, safety, and fire prevention strategies.
  • Facilitate safety training sessions for staff.
  • Develop software applications for machinery and operational processes.
  • Gather and analyze operational or experimental data.
  • Formulate manufacturing and processing protocols.
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in Mastercam CAD/CAM.
  • Experience with web service design.
  • Familiarity with mapping and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of database management software.
  • Skilled in computer-aided design (CAD) and AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.

  • Fast-paced setting with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods.
