Cheme Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of process systems for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process systems, including equipment selection, sizing calculations, and P&ID development
  • Execute engineering calculations and prepare construction specifications, user requirements, and functional specifications
  • Commission and validate process systems, including preparation of commissioning and validation protocols
  • Travel to client sites for site review and troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science degree in engineering from a recognized Canadian university
  • Ability to register with the Professional Engineer's of Ontario as an Engineer in Training
  • Mechanical, Chemical, Process engineering skills with at least 2-3 years of industrial work experience
  • Experience with engineering calculations, equipment sizing, specifications, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
