About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Software Trainer to join our team at PBS Systems in Milton, Ontario. As an Accounting Software Trainer, you will be responsible for providing support and training to new and existing customers on our Dealer Management Software (DMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and develop an understanding of the PBS software and its various modules, including sales, service, inventory management, and accounting.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to customers on the use of our DMS software, both virtually and in-person.
  • Assist customers with data entry and other key tasks, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Complete the payroll module and become an install resource without assistance.
  • Prioritize tasks without direction from Team Leads and take the initiative to learn new products to increase knowledge.
  • Provide excellent support to customers in our software, navigating the DMS to better assist them.
  • Work directly with customers, training all sessions in assigned silos and other silos as possible.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying their needs and ensuring they are met or exceeded.
  • Respond to internal and external training requests in a timely manner, writing up tickets and investigating issues that arise.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment, sharing knowledge within the DTO team and maintaining documentation as processes change.
  • Commit to ongoing education and cross-training, ensuring the DTO queue is monitored.
Qualifications
  • Experience in bookkeeping/accounting.
  • 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or PBS is an asset.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving & trouble-shooting skills.
  • Effective time management & organizational skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking & prioritization.
  • Strong documentation abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month, requiring a valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable) and valid full-class driver's license.
