We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Partnerships Strategy to join our leadership team and drive our sponsorship strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance our brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance brand positioning.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, including corporate sponsorships, community engagements, and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential partners.
- Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of partnership agreements to ensure mutual success and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on partnership commitments and ensure alignment with overall team objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years proven experience in partnership development, sponsorship management, or business development, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of partnership strategies, contract negotiations, and revenue generation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Be a part of the historic launch of the first WNBA team in Canada.
