About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Emergine Enterprise Inc. as a caregiver. In this role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring clients receive nutritious and balanced diets.
  • Errands and Shopping: Accompany clients on errands and shopping trips, helping them access essential services and products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding role requiring stamina and endurance.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
