About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Romko Residences LTD. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Provide Nursing Care: Take residents' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as required.
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Serve meal trays, feed residents, and assist with mobility, including transporting residents between care facilities.
  • Communicate Effectively: Answer call signals, respond to residents' needs, and maintain open communication with the care team.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of residents' living areas, and maintain inventory of supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Required certifications for the role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 to 37 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
