About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Assa Enterprises Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide support with toileting and incontinence care.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, promoting a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments, errands, and social events, ensuring safe and timely arrival.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker with Assa Enterprises Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their homes or community settings. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending and lifting.
