About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Assa Enterprises Inc. as a Personal Care Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Health and Wellness: Assist clients with exercise routines, provide guidance on healthy eating habits, and support them in managing chronic conditions.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often in clients' homes or community settings. You will be required to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, as well as work under pressure to meet clients' needs.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
