About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Emergine Enterprise Inc. as a caregiver. In this role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Companionship: Provide social interaction and engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments and outings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
