About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Assa Enterprises Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and comfort.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and adhering to medication protocols.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings, ensuring their safety and well-being during transportation.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, patience, and empathy.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker with Assa Enterprises Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. You will be expected to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending and lifting.
