Senior IT Business Analyst

The individual in this role will be instrumental in collaborating with various teams throughout the organization to optimize applications and business workflows that support our objectives. This position entails leading the gathering and interpretation of intricate business requirements into comprehensive system and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior IT Business Analyst:

  • Drive progress and achieve desired outcomes on designated projects.
  • Facilitate and participate in application and solution design workshops in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organization; engage regularly with different departments and operational teams to deliver value and ensure transparency.
  • Serve as a critical resource throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Life Cycle.
  • Maintain objectivity in personal contributions to ensure solutions align with business goals.
  • Assist in resolving assigned tickets and application-related challenges.
  • Identify and escalate any issues and concerns to IT management and/or business process owners.
  • Guide stakeholders in making informed, data-driven decisions and recommendations focused on value.
  • Create and maintain necessary documentation.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

  • University degree or postgraduate education in a business or STEM field.
  • Additional certifications demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in an Implementation consulting or Business Analyst role.
  • Experience or background in accounting and financial processes is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to effectively comprehend and refine business requirements.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud ERP, JDE, or SAP S/4HANA is a strong asset.
  • Established understanding of change management principles is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in delivering business solutions within an agile framework is beneficial.
  • Proficient in data analysis, queries, and reporting to support root cause analysis of reported issues.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality output.
  • Ability to manage deliverables across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-driven with a high level of initiative, accountability, and a desire to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, and Wireframing Tools.
