Marketing Strategy Lead

Position Overview:
As a Marketing Strategy Lead at Ziff Davis, LLC, you will play a crucial role in defining our product marketing approach and spearheading the implementation of marketing initiatives that enhance visibility, generate demand, and promote the adoption of our innovative SEO solutions. You will work in close collaboration with various teams, including Product Management, Channel Owners, Customer Success, and external partners, to effectively position our offerings, uncover market opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for new product introductions, updates, and phase-outs.
- Lead efforts in market positioning, packaging, value proposition, messaging, and other initiatives informed by market research, competitive insights, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers to co-manage launch decisions and communication strategies, ensuring departmental alignment and a seamless customer experience.
- Work closely with product managers and cross-functional leaders to influence the product development roadmap.
- Develop competitive positioning and provide insights that can be utilized by Marketing, Sales, and Support teams.
- Act as the marketing focal point and coordinator for high-profile marketing projects and product launches.
- Partner with Growth and Content Marketing teams to create customer communication plans and lead generation strategies that support product releases.
- Craft all internal and external marketing communications regarding product launch activities, collaborating with Product Management, UX, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Design and implement strategies and tactics to enhance customer awareness and engagement tied to product releases.
- Lead cross-functional teams and build consensus to advance projects effectively.
- Maintain the product marketing calendar, adjusting strategies and tactics in collaboration with the broader marketing team as timelines evolve.
- Simplify complex product functionalities into clear, compelling messaging.
- Direct the production of promotional videos and training materials to showcase new features and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading product marketing and GTM launches within a Tech/SaaS/B2B context for self-service and enterprise products.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience managing at least 5 complete product launches or phase-outs.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- A solution-oriented mindset combined with an analytical approach to problem-solving based on data and research.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to transform ideas into actionable outcomes through experimentation and learning.
- Proficient in data analysis for goal setting, performance benchmarking, and customer engagement tracking, with the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting value propositions, positioning statements, and customer-facing messaging.
- Ensures consistency and accuracy in product messaging across all channels, including websites, sales materials, and collateral.
- Experience working with videographers to produce product demonstrations, conducting webinars, and designing marketing materials.
Compensation: Targeted salary range is 90-100K CAD.
