Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating daily operations, monitoring department performance, and planning and organizing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor department performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
  • Manage finances or budget to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
