Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring efficient and effective logistics management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Conduct regular assessments of our transportation fleet's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor Department's Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our logistics operations, making data-driven decisions to drive growth and improvement.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily schedules and itineraries for our transportation fleet, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Manage Finances or Budget: Oversee the financial management of our transportation fleet, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and enforce policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Monitor Revenue: Analyze and optimize transportation service rates, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage the inventory of goods and materials, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery.
  • Record Cargo Information: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, including hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Provides Diversity and Cross-Cultural Trainings: Develop and implement diversity and cross-cultural training programs to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Support for Youths
  • Provides Awareness Training: Develop and implement awareness training programs to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Provides Cultural Competency Training: Develop and implement cultural competency training programs to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Work Environment
