We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring that all logistics operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Assess the performance of our transportation fleet on a daily basis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Monitor Department's Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, fuel efficiency, and driver safety records.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily schedules for our transportation fleet, ensuring that all deliveries and pickups are completed on time.
  • Manage Finances or Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of our transportation fleet, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that all operations are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that all deliveries and pickups are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Monitor Revenue: Analyze and optimize our transportation service rates, ensuring that we are maximizing revenue while maintaining a competitive edge.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the inventory management process, ensuring that all goods are properly stored, tracked, and delivered.
  • Record Cargo Information: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, including hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations and transportation management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Fluency in English.
