About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring efficient and effective management of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Assess the performance of our transportation fleet on a daily basis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Monitor Department's Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our logistics operations, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation fleet, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Manage Finances or Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of our logistics operations, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Monitor Revenue: Set and monitor transportation service rates, ensuring optimal revenue generation.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage the inventory of goods, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Record Cargo Information: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, including hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
