Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Assess the performance of our transportation fleet on a daily basis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Monitor Department Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our transportation fleet, including on-time delivery rates, fuel efficiency, and driver safety.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily schedules for our transportation fleet, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and that our drivers are equipped with the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
  • Manage Finances or Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of our transportation fleet, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to these guidelines.
  • Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of our transportation fleet, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and that our drivers are equipped with the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
  • Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Monitor Revenue: Analyze and adjust our transportation service rates as needed, ensuring that we are competitive in the market while also ensuring that our revenue is maximized.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the organization and maintenance of our inventory, ensuring that all goods are properly stored and that our drivers have access to the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
  • Record Cargo Information: Track and record cargo information, including hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, to ensure that our transportation fleet is operating efficiently and safely.
