This role provides administrative support to the People and Culture Team, including HR, Benefits & Payroll. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for all US pay groups, ensuring time files are closed and ready for payroll processing, and reviewing, validating, and auditing payroll-related entries.
Key Responsibilities- Process weekly payroll for all US pay groups.
- Ensure time files are closed and ready for payroll processing.
- Review, validate, and audit payroll-related entries.
- Manage file feeds in and out of the UltiPro/UKG payroll system and the funding process to multiple carriers and retirement vendors.
- Run audit reports to ensure data is processed accurately.
- Minimum of years' experience in Payroll Processing/Timekeeping system applications.
- Canadian Payroll experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications preferred.
- Ability to multitask and support day-to-day activities while managing customer inquiries.
- Knowledgeable of basic payroll processing requirements and general HR functions.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision for computer monitor, and the ability to adjust focus.
