Position Overview

The Hotel Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for guests at Super 8 Motels. This position requires a blend of customer service skills and administrative tasks.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Manage room reservations, including taking, modifying, and canceling bookings as needed.
  • Offer detailed information regarding hotel amenities and services available to guests.
  • Provide insights about local attractions and points of interest to enhance guest experiences.
  • Facilitate guest departures by processing payments, calculating charges, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain financial accuracy by balancing cash and completing necessary reports.
  • Adhere to safety and emergency protocols to ensure guest security.
  • Handle incoming calls, relaying messages and information to guests as required.
  • Coordinate wake-up calls for guests upon request.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
