Position Overview
As a Marketing and Social Media Strategist, you will report directly to the Marketing, Branding, and Communications Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to devise and implement strategies that enhance Nova Steel's sales and brand visibility throughout North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing and Digital Engagement:
- Collaborate in the development and execution of the annual marketing strategy and social media calendar to bolster the company's branding, sales initiatives, events, and trade exhibitions.
- Produce, publish, and evaluate engaging digital and video content across multiple platforms to promote products and services effectively.
- Ensure alignment of Nova Steel's digital advertising with overarching business objectives, fostering synergies with other promotional activities.
- Event Coordination:
- Work alongside the Director to identify optimal platforms and conferences that align with company goals and maximize investment.
- Organize and manage multiple in-person events annually, ensuring a unique and positive customer experience.
- Oversee all aspects of event management, including booth design, budgeting, logistics, and venue arrangements.
- Develop strategic plans for each event to engage the right audience and enhance participation.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess strengths, weaknesses, and return on investment.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with Sales and Internal Division leaders to create content for presentations and promotional activities.
- Innovate strategies to enhance customer engagement during in-person events and through digital channels.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in a marketing or advisory role within a B2B context.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills in English, French, and Spanish.
- Experience in creating impactful event experiences and brand positioning.
- Demonstrated ability in B2B branding, product marketing, and campaign development.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on brand consistency in visual and written content.
