Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our dining services at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff effectively while ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established standards
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management
  • Develop and manage work schedules for staff
