About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Operations to join our team at Guidepoint. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless strategic planning and agile delivery of product and engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Build strong relationships with product, engineering, and IT teams to drive operational efficiency and agile delivery.
  2. Streamline Product Release Process: Partner with product and engineering teams to standardize and coordinate product release and agile delivery processes.
  3. Improve Business Rhythms: Oversee and continuously improve weekly and quarterly business reviews, quarterly planning, and metrics reviews with product, UX, and engineering leaders.
  4. Lead Strategic Initiatives: Act as PMO for large, cross-team strategic initiatives, optimizing dependencies, clearing blockers, and communicating with stakeholders.
  5. Enhance Communication: Improve communication across and between product, engineering, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  6. Develop Tools and Best Practices: Manage and develop tools and best practices that support product design and development activities, such as agile metrics, release tracking, and product roadmaps.
  7. Liaise with Finance and HR: Collaborate with finance on budget tracking, vendor invoices, and contractor management, and with HR for goal-setting and training programs.
Requirements
  1. 8+ Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in product and/or engineering operations, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
  2. Leadership Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Operational Efficiency: Proven track record of measurable process improvement and operational efficiency.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Ability to proactively address issues and bottlenecks, and to facilitate strategic prioritization and bridge between strategy and execution.
  5. Customer-Centric Approach: A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional value and experience through product offerings.
