As a key member of the Easton's Group of Hotels team, the Director of Operations plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotels. This position is responsible for assisting the General Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of financial and operational plans that support the company's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, and security functions.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Team Management: Supervise and train hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage personnel.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues, including guest complaints and staff conflicts.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in a hotel operations role, preferably in a senior management position.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
This role requires:
- Frequent standing and moving about the hotel.
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Using a keyboard to generate correspondence and reports.
- Handling objects, products, and equipment.
