Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food products meet quality control standards and are prepared to the highest standards.
    • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our customers receive a consistent and high-quality experience.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
