Regional Sales Manager for Decking and Railing Solutions

Master Halco, a prominent manufacturer and distributor in North America, specializing in fencing and perimeter security products, is in search of a qualified Regional Sales Manager for Decking and Railing Solutions. Candidates should be located in or around Toronto, ON.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will oversee a team of outside sales representatives, driving the growth and profitability of Decking, Railing, and Outdoor Structures (DR&OS) within their designated territory. This position involves providing guidance and support to the sales team through field presence, collaborative sales efforts, relationship cultivation, prospecting, value creation, and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and lead Outside Sales Associates and other assigned sales personnel
  • Utilize the Master Halco STEPS training program to deliver value to associates and clients
    • Achieve expertise in the Master Halco STEPS training program to effectively train and coach associates, ensuring customer-focused service
  • Establish enduring business relationships with key DR&OS customers and promote products
  • Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve high performance
  • Ensure sales personnel are knowledgeable about all available sales tools and resources
  • Facilitate sales of non-DR&OS products when opportunities arise

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the establishment of sales and margin objectives for Decking/Railing and Outdoor Structures (DR&OS) in the region
  • Broaden and diversify the customer base
  • Launch and expand DR&OS product offerings to serve as a comprehensive resource for customers
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop and implement measurable short and long-term sales strategies
  • Conduct joint sales visits with the field sales team to engage customers and provide on-the-job training
  • Deliver hands-on product knowledge and value proposition training for associates and clients
  • Conduct market analysis and develop sales strategies
  • Provide sales support and product expertise to customers and Master Halco associates
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external resources, including manufacturers and distributors

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in Sales, Sales Leadership, and Sales Training
  • Preferred experience in related industries (Decking, Railing, Outdoor Living Products)
