Excellent Country Landscapers Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our landscaping team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of 5-10 people, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure our landscapes remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Manage Landscape Construction Work: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of landscape construction projects, from start to finish.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain records of work completed, including materials used and labor hours.
  • Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality work.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and understand blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for projects.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to team members to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
